River run

So I went out yesterday, determined to spend some time outside -- enough time that maybe a good dose of fresh air would help me recover from this illness.

It was a good jaunt. I followed a river drive for a while, hoping to catch some glimpses I'd never glimpsed before but then suddenly realized I was heading into much more urban territory than I had intended. Seems I missed my turn.

Having gone that far, I decided to take the opportunity and head to the lower section of the river. I took Haggerty road south to the lower river metropark, but decided not to spend $10 to get in the park. Instead I followed Huron River Drive almost all the way home. Luckily, it yielded plenty of glimpses I had never before glimpsed of the river, and a couple of lakes as well.

It was a good day, I just wish I had set out a bit sooner. Next time for sure.
