I dreamt I went on a trip to Canada, and I was in a group with some folks and we were just north of Lake Superior in a small town on a lakefront tour that was quaint and lovely.
Then it was time to go, and somebody let me know my paperwork wasn't exactly in order, and I might not be able to get back. I was simultaneously content and frightened about the prospect that I couldn't go back to the US, at least not without a lawyer. I was looking at names in a phone book and someone said - 'it's that guy, you need that guy' and they pointed at a name in the phone book so I put an asterisk by it but then there was some small chaos of some kind in the hall/lodge we were all gathered in and things still weren't resolved.
It was pretty though, and the sense of broad, expansive natural land, wilderness and water underscored my content to accept my plight.

I have had similar traveling dreams in the past, where I can see thousands of miles over the Great Lakes region and clearly see the extent that most of the surface is freshwater.
It is striking and beautiful.
