truly these are notes from the nether café today -- I tried to stop at the coop café four different times today, since this morning upon discovering that all the power was out in the neighborhood because a semi turning in the intersection caught the wires above and pulled down the traffic light into the middle of the intersection and it blew out all the power in the area.
they had the whole area blocked off all day.
finally, at the end of the evening after the Skyline music awards, my daughter and I stopped in just minutes before closing so I could cash in my flocktag reward (deadline of today, as the coop no longer accepts flocktags, sorry folks!). I ordered a hot lemon ginger.
unfortunately, it turned out to be a rotten hot lemon ginger, and undrinkable.
so, after all that, it was all for naught. although my daughter did get a bag of chips. so it was all that and a bag of chips.
I will see if they will honor an exchange in the morning for a fresh ginger drink.
