have you ever worked a job that was such a dreary grind that you had to come up with a specific set of things to remind yourself of why it's all worth it, just so you keep showing up every day?

so, cheers to perseverance, to diligence, to the strife of sacrifice to get to where it is we need to go. this is my salute to the hard workers who don't know how they manage to keep doing what they do, but they do.
