April 5 is for festivals of fools.
I saw them walking, parading the 4th Avenue sidewalks with their costumes and lights, cheering creative expression and social gatherings. Parading, parading, parading...
I had forgotten this was the local day of the fools. So many days of fools in April! I tried twice to park in the free lot across from the co-op so I could finally get more cough drops (the honey herb variety, seems you can only find these at the co-op). It was to no avail, so I abandoned the mission and went home.
Tea for me it is then on the new fool moon festival eve.
