Nearly every day I sit in the late morning / early afternoon sun that streams through my south window, chill with my birds, and study recipes and the lay of the land of the American industry of alcoholic beverages. Perhaps what is most interesting is to fully recognize that alcoholic beverages are agricultural products. Whiskey, for example, is made primarily from corn or rye. Grain.
