Hot Lemon Ginger

unusual
and I cant seem to correct the blogger to format in the style that I want
I am not sure why the colors are random
or of anything else, really
although I do know that the price of a hot lemon ginger is $2.92
at the co-op café
but she forgot to ask me for my co-op member number so I didn't get my Wednesday membership discount, which could have subsidized my street parking fees for the brief morning visit.
I also realized I have a tendency to wear the latest in homeless fashion
it's my preference for grey scale hues, really

and I often find myself thinking about how we treat people based on not only what their clothes look like, but also how warmly we dress for the weather - perhaps people who are rich need only to quickly jaunt through freezing weather, so only need a quick layer or two, while poor folks probably must walk, and thus have many more layers of winter clothing to wear. anyway, it does seem to be this café in particular that triggers these lines of thinking about class, status and privilege.

I am not surprised.

still, it is a beautiful morning, as evidenced by the riverside.
