This is my life now.
metaphorically, literally, etc. etc.
The other morning when the snow was freshly fallen, draping the trees in elegant beauty, I was fortunate enough to see the 8:48 freight train go by, the one that passes through town every day.
As I observed the last few freight cars go by, I wondered what was in those tankers - was it oil?
Some other chemicals? I don't know how to read the code on the side to know, but there were instructions on every tanker in case of a disaster.
Such quiet sinister beauty as it trailed away along the snow covered tracks, each slick black tanker car frosted with the whitest of snow.
It was unfortunately one of the mornings I did not grab my Nikon on the way out the door, and my phone camera was overloaded with data and refused to take one more piece of photographic evidence of anything. So I let the image forever impress into memory and appreciated just how truly beautiful the contrast of black and white can be.
in between are grey scale hues.
