A clear blue Saturday morning with a slow pace and the home café simulation launched, I decided to update my weather records. I log the precipitation amounts every day, but have slacked on entering them into the cocorahs database. Looking through my handwritten entries, I see the day I stopped being so diligent in updating the database (and logging several other data points) is November 8th. Sigh. I take heart when I find the drawings of plants and tree flowers my son drew years ago, which now mark the beginning of a weather book that will likely hold close to 10 years of observations once every page is full.
