Morning sun

This morning the sun shines on new solar powered parking meters in Kerrytown. 80 cents on my card so I could have a lemon ginger to go, but not before writing a few things down on my music agenda to-do list. As I sit down, I see that there is a box on the table; you know that long table that is new and stationed by the window looking out onto the street? It's sitting there, on the corner. It is a Detroit decoding box, a puzzle of sort to figure out how to seat 36 guests in the cafe, thereby making full use of the seating capacity.

Funny that, as the night previous I chatted with the host of the Thursday music series, talking about promoting the music venue, but that there is only so much space for hosting. Still, there is room at the inn, according to this decoding box. So I'm hoping to see at least 36 of you the next Thursday evening with music on the menu, at the cafe on 4th avenue. See you there.
