The cost of living has officially become more expensive this month for my household. The clear indicator of this is that I could not purchase groceries this week. I may be able to buy a small amount of things tomorrow or the next day, but it will be a very frugal order.
I read somewhere that this is what societal collapse looks like, things start breaking down around you and everything becomes harder to negotiate.
At least I have made good on my goal to hone my bartending skills, and with it comes a few cash tips to get through the week. Hopefully.
Although I sense it is time to make a change, so I will consider carefully what my next bold move shall be. Perhaps it is simply to set better boundaries all around, and follow through on them. Basically, to perfect the art of saying no.
Anyway, lunch today was coffee, sprouted grain toast and orange marmalade.
Sparse, but rather good overall.
