I envision one day a feminist rubric for local business management and neighborhood resilience initiatives. perhaps something like the Bechdel test, but for localizing and strengthening feminist economies.
this is especially important for the third places, as these places increasingly become cornerstones for social cohesion and equitable outcomes as we lurch forward in transition from an oil based economy, whether we like it or not.
in the meantime, I am tired of this life long saga of being discriminated against for my gender, my socio-economic status, and now, to add to the pile, my age.
perhaps this will be the stuff of my local documentary on social justice. thoughts?
cheers.
