Sighted at this new location so far: several frogs, a bullfrog yesterday, numerous red-winged blackbirds that are apparently somewhat ornery, geese of course, an egret, a purple martin, minnows near the shore of the boat launch and another unidentified small fish, a ladybug, a sparrow, a river otter, a muskrat, a few other birds that I have yet to identify and one that flies like a bat... also, a train.
It's very peaceful here, sitting swamp side in the sun.
